THE BEST JAMBALAYA EVERRRRR!

So I made this recipe recently and tried a new way of doing it. When I tell you I received so many compliments and request for seconds, I decided I have to share it!

So here we go....this is GREAT for football season and holidays! It makes plenty for everyone too AND it doesn't break the bank!

Ingredients:
2 cup chopped green bellpepper
2 chopped onion
1 cup chopped or minced Garlic
1.5 cup chopped celery
Buy a package of sausage, slice in thin 1/2-1 inch thick slices set aside
2 packs of wild rice
2 packs of jambalaya mix
2 cans of chicken broth
1 cooked rotisserie chicken
1 pack of sausage (I use Manda)

Sautee all of the vegetables and the sausage in a skillet on low heat with olive oil

Take a whole cooked rotisserie chicken, pull off all the chicken and set aside you will add this in later.

After the vegetables have gotten somewhat soft, about 5-7 minutes in likely, then add 2 cans of chicken broth. Let broth, sausage and veggies simmer for 10 minutes. Then add in your chicken and season the broth with a little onion salt and Tonys.

Now you will add in the rice and cook according to the directions.

Add water amount that the 2 bags of rice calls for into your pot, once it is all brought to a boil add in rice, mix everything well, and simmer 30 minutes.

2 bags of wild rice

2 boxes of Jambalaya mix rice

I begin with sautee bellpepper, onion, garlic, celery
Add in meat and 2 cups of chicken broth
- sausage
- baked chicken or rotissirie and use the chicken broth (box chicken broth option)
onion salt & Tonys

Add water amount, once brought to a boil add in rice below and simmer 30 minutes

2 bags of wild rice

2 boxes of jambalaya mix rice

THIS IS AMAZING!!! Ad it gets better as it sits with the flavors of the vegetables. The key is fresh veggies, broth, and adding in the wild rice mix.
